Octbox 2012 Ultra Light UL Seatbox System

The Octbox 2012 Ultra light  fishing station comprises :-

       1.        Ultra light platform .

2.        Five drawer storage unit.

3.        Extending adaptor bar 

4.     Side tray with groundbait tray and Support leg

The platform and storage module is constructed from ultra light rust free alloys that not only make it one of the strongest and most stable systems, but also one of the lightest.   The deep leg metal adapters are welded (not riveted) which ensures no flexing or movement when you sit on the box.  

By stripped down system gives a light weight system with lots of storage space and a capability to fix a foward support or nets on to a lightweight but very strong extendable adaptor bar. The system weighs 17lbs and is built to support anglers up to 26 Stone in weight.  The legs on this system have been shortened by 8cm to ensure it can fit into most car boots.   The box dimensions when packed are Width 2ft 2" x Length 1ft 8" x Height 1ft 7".

The system is fully compatible with the Octbox 2011/ 2012 MK1 and MK2 main platforms.  The adaptors slide on to the legs of the main platform to add a height adjustment capability to the main system.  

Lightweight Platform

The platform is fitted with welded deep alloy adaptors that fix quality extendable 25mm round legs with pivoting mud feet that can extend from 48cm to 78cm.   A 7 cm gap between the storage modules and the legs gives ample space to fit accessories. 

Tackle Storage Modules

The main drawer module has one deep side drawer, two shallow side drawers, and two deep front drawers.   All are constructed from rust free ultra light alloys with strong magnets fitted to the rear.   Pole winders up to 26 cms long may be fitted, with an additional 4 cm deep storage space for larger winders between the module and the frame.   A second large 4 cms deep storage space (with dividers) is located under the padded seat. 

Side Tray & Groundbait Tray

The Nordik Match side Tray measures 51 x 36 x 4.5cm and is supplied with a ground bait bowl (23x33x10cm) and Extendable support leg.  The side tray fits on to an L shaped bar that can be fixed into sockets fitted in all four corners of the lightweight platform.

Wheel kit compatible

Sockets are built into the side of the frame for the Octbox 2011 lightweight wheelkit that is available for this system.  The wheel kit for this item can be viewed under seatbox accessories.
