The 6 Man Family Tent Royal Class has been made with absolutely no crompromises to quality. The inner structure that can be seen on the time lapse pictures actually allows this tent to stand without guy ropes. The 22mm steel structure give a strength and stability that cannot be equaled by fibre glass, an important factor when you consider how much canvas you are presenting to the wind. The steel poles are all zinc plated to prevent them from rusting. The solid structure also gives the advantage of being able to hang heavy items such as coats without the problem of the structure bending. The Ripstop 210 polyester has been stitched together in a manner that makes it impossible to pull the seams apart, thereby ensuring the waterproof qualities of this tent are not compromosed by poor workmanship. The tent has a height of 240cm with each of the two sleeping cabins having a height of 220cm. This extra height and the large air vents that can be left open in all weathers allow good circulation and prevent moisture from building up on the inside of the tent. Each sleeping cabin measures 2m x 2,10m in size which is big enough to place an inflatable matress. Each sleeping cabin has a foldaway storage area fitted with bar for hanging clothes that can also be folded away to increase the sleeping area. The dividing wall between the sleeping cabins cannot be removed, there is however a small zipped panel in the dividing wall.The tent has a zip opening on both sides for electric cables and velcro cable ties are placed across the tent roof allowing cables to be routed across the tent quickly and neatly.
The floor is raised on all sides to form a completely waterproof bathtub that is completely sewn into the tent which combined with the mosquito mesh fitted to all doors and windows to create an insect free area. The tent has a total of three doors, three large windows, large awnings at the front and side and a sun roof that provide you with a well ventilated and comfortable area to relax. In the event that all the windows and doors have to be closed due to bad weather large mesh panels at the to of each window give good air circulation without allowing rain in. The windows and doors are fiited with both mesh and clear PVC panels and roll down shutters for privacy.
The inner cabins are made from breathable polyester that allows air to circulate to give a well ventilated tent with a climate that is comfortable in all weathers. The cabins have plenty of quality attachements to stretch them across the tent floor. As well as having a foldaway storage area they are also fitted with mesh pockets on the outside that are ideal for storing smaller items such as magazines and books.
The tent outer has been waterproofed, with PU coated polyester, to give an extra resilient water column of 5000mm and is supported by 5 strong 22mm steel poles that are easily sloted into the tent sleeves together with poles that run along the inside that gives a rock solid structure. The tent is supplied with a set of standard tent pegs and guy ropes and 6 heavy duty ropes and plastic grip pins that are fixed at each end.
The tent is supplied with a very large quality thick canvas holdall that is on wheels and a second canvas bag for the rust free zinc plated steel poles. The guy lines are high quality, orange in colour and are already attached to the tent to reduce construction time.
